Renamed to Cerberus Concealment Conspiracy

I suggest Operation Cerberus Cover Up for the rename - E-Scope04 (talk) 02:13, 12 July 2022 (UTC)

While I do like the idea of it having to do with covering up, I do not like the fact that it has Operation Cerberus when their is a war called Operation Cerberus. I suggest Concealment of Cerberus Squad's Crimes. - Raff • Message Wall • Contributions 03:30, 13 January 2023 (UTC)

This is one of those times where "Conspiracy" actually is fitting. Anyway, my suggestion is Suppression of Operation Cerberus. Or, based on the dialogue "We all need to be wary of accusations without proof. Like, say, someone accusing a decorated CIA official of running an illegal heroin operation and assassination program. Or that government departments colluded to keep it quiet." I also put forth Collusion for Cerberus Concealment. Although I think I prefer my "Suppression" one. •

Of the current suggestion pool, I'm in support of Operation Cerberus Cover Up so far, or keeping "conspiracy" in the name as is. I do, however, want to throw out another idea for consideration - I originally considered incorporating "scandal" in the name, possibly something like "Cerberus Scandal", "Operation Cerberus Scandal" or "Cerberus Squad Scandal". There's no major public outrage, so the definition of scandal may not fully apply to this situation, although though the CIA did manipulate the narrative for the public. - Mister Explicit • Message Wall • Contribs - 02:15, 12 August 2024 (UTC)

Yeah, I do think "Conspiracy" should be kept for this one, but amended to Cerberus Conspiracy or Cerberus Concealment Conspiracy. •

Thing is, Conspiracy is actually very fitting for this specific event. If the idea is we're straying too close to other pages, I'd say one other page that has "Conspiracy" should probably get renamed. Of the two though, I think I lean towards "Cerberus Concealment Conspiracy" as well. Nice alliteration there. •

Conspiracy to Release Ammit is an official name so that is not budging. Kingpin's is being moved. Schultz is marked as the one that should be the conspiracy, but if this fits better, then we can start trying to rename that one instead. - Raff • Message Wall • Contributions 03:05, 12 August 2024 (UTC)

Between this and Schultz, I think Schultz is better fit for the rename. I'm sure we can think of things for that. Although that might actually be one of the pages where "Campaign" fits since it's a political campaign related event. •

Yes, as much as the Obsolete idea is to avoid using the same names, we should stick with official ones. With conspiracy locked down, I repeat my support of my own "Cerberus Concealment Conspiracy" suggestion •
