This article should be renamed to Centurion. There is currently no citation for the Scarlet Centurion alias, and in previous interviews, such as here, Peyton Reed has been very careful to not call this variant of Kang "Scarlet Centurion," instead opting to say he is based on the character or acts as a nod to the character.
A recent Fandom interview with the creative team has revealed that producer Stephen Broussard actually revealed that the team refers to this variant as Centurion, rather than Scarlet Centurion, found here.
The creative team has been careful to not call the character Scarlet Centurion, and Broussard has confirmed that he is instead called Centurion (and he is not scarlet colored). Therefore, I believe that this article should be renamed to Centurion in order to better comply with naming policy. Criszz (talk) 19:24, 11 March 2023 (UTC)
- I support the renaming of the article to Centurion and believe the evidence provided justifies the rename. My only suggestion if the rename goes through is to have the trivia saying “Stephen Broussard is on record saying that the character is “based on Scarlet Centurion”.” so that there is a citation for referencing.
