Page has been moved from "Battle at Josie's Bar" to "Attack on Josie's Bar"

The current name is rather poor in my opinion, a more fitting name would be Attack on at Josie's Bar, as this is Dex surprise attacking the bar and killing its patrons. I wouldn't call that a battle when Matt was caught off guard and even then, since when is a battle two people. - E-Scope | Message Wall • Contribs - 18:18, 10 March 2025 (UTC)

Maybe Murder of Foggy Nelson since that seemed to be his primary target. -DavisRanger (talk) 18:39, 10 March 2025 (UTC)

It'd be Assassination, not Murder, but more people than Foggy died. Ten other people died, and Karen Page was also a target. Which is why I'm not a fan of having the name be Assassination of Foggy Nelson. There's also the fact that after Bullseye shot Nelson, he threw the smoke grenade into Josie's. I prefer Attack on Josie's Bar as well. I also agree that we shouldn't have the event centered on Foggy Nelson since most of occurred after he was shot by Bullseye. - Fish Master 41 (talk) 22:03, 10 March 2025 (UTC)

After some thought, I think the page name should remain. Yes, Poindexter was sent to assassinate Foggy, but after he did that, did he leave? No. He walked up, tried to kill Karen, got knocked into Josie's by Daredevil, and then proceeded to kill ten people all while fighting Daredevil. As stated before, this incident (the bulk of it) went beyond the assassination of Foggy Nelson. But the attack wasn't designed to be "on Josie's Bar", it just happened to be at that location because Foggy was there. Maybe I'm too late to the discussion, but I would prefer Attack at Josie's Bar. MalchonC (talk) 04:23, 2 May 2025 (UTC)

I would be in support of Attack at Josie's Bar. The attack wasn't a random attack on the bar itself but was specifically a successful attempt at assassinating Foggy. But I don't think Assassination of Foggy Nelson works properly because, whether it was just to cover up his main target or otherwise, Bullseye still tries to kill Karen and definitely kills ten other people, not just Foggy. I think changing "on" to "at" in the page name clarifies what the event is better, but I don't think we should go beyond that. Logo8th (talk) 04:33, 2 May 2025 (UTC)

I think Attack on Josie's Bar is still better than Assassination of Foggy Nelson since the event was more than just the killing of Foggy Nelson. -

So we have three in support of a rename (Raff, Garrett, Cadennnnn) and six in opposition, wanting the "Josie's Bar" name to stay (E-Scope, MJLogan95, MalchonC, Logo8th, Fish Master 41, Mister Explicit).
