History[]

"Hello, George. Daddy's home."
Glenn Talbot to George Talbot[src]

Unaware that her husband Glenn Talbot had been kidnapped by Hydra, Carla Talbot was visited in her house by Candice Lee, General R. Hale's right-hand woman, who gave them instructions to speak with her husband on the phone while repeating the phrases used for the Faustus method, which helped Hydra tighten their control over Glenn.[1]

Days later, having gained gravity manipulation powers that came with serious mental unstability, Glenn returned to his house, from which he had been taken since Hydra had seized him and where his wife Carla and his son George still lived. Although George was initially thrilled to have his father back, Carla became concerned since she had just been called by S.H.I.E.L.D. who had alerted her about her husband's recent descent into madness.

Sitting in the living room, Glenn began demonstrating his powers to George until Carla asked her husband to speak face-to-face. This deeply annoyed Glenn, who then learned that Carla had been in contact by S.H.I.E.L.D. and violently pinned his wife to the wall using his powers, much to George's horror. Glenn was willing to kill his wife by absorbing her into his Gravitonium-made body, but was interrupted when a group of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents led by Alphonso Mackenzie and Yo-Yo Rodriguez arrived to confront him.

Getting outside, Glenn defiantly stood before the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, lifting their cars in the air before crashing them onto the ground, which prompted several agents to shoot at him. However, Glenn simply blocked the bullets with his powers and threw them back at the agents. As he boasted about his powers, he was then confronted by his own son George, who got out of the house and accused his father of being a villain instead of a superhero. Although disagreeing with his son, Glenn did not hurt him, and instead promised that he would save the whole world soon before leaving the house's surroundings by flying away.[2]
