The Taa II is a spaceship owned by Galactus. Containing the Devourer, the ship carries out the destruction of planets.

A gargantuan vessel, the Taa II was capable of easily destroying entire planets in order to feed its pilot, Galactus. The ship was observed ploughing through a world and obliterating it from the inside out via a massive engine. The scattered materials left behind are quickly hoovered up by the ship and processed in its gigantic innards. Reduced to molten rock, these materials are fed to Galactus via massive tubes attached to Galactus' back, which he sits dormant in his chair to receive.

The Taa II can travel great distances across space, able to reach Earth in under a month, and pass from one end of the Solar System to the other in a matter of days.

The Taa II possesses a powerful tractor beam, able to receive both individuals such as Shalla-Bal or entire ships, such as the Fantastic Four's Excelsior.

The size of the ship was such that it was almost equivalent to that of a large planet like LHS-275, one of the many worlds it devoured.
