History[]
The Sword of Torunn was forged from Uru by the Dwarves of Nidavellir.
It was stolen by the Dark Elves during an attack on Nidavellir. It was taken to Vanaheim, where Heimdall sent Thor to recover it. Here, he met up with his friend and ally, Hogun. The two forced the Dark Elves out of hiding once they defeated Duhg, forcing Thor and Hogun to fight through the Elves and their remaining Marauder allies. After defeating a Kronan allied with the Marauders, the Asgardians were able to recover the Sword.[1]
