Surtur is a Fire Demon who was invited by Thor to attend his party on Earth.

Biography[]

Party on Midgard[]

Surtur came to Earth and flirted with the Statue of Liberty in New York City, only to accidentally break the torch arm and run off. Surtur later went to play Limbo at the transmission towers until he accidentally severed one of the electric cables, causing a blackout throughout the city.

Once Thor announced his mother's arrival, Surtur returned and fixed the Statue, using his powers to weld the arm back on.^[1]

Personality[]

Unlike his main timeline counterpart, this version of Surtur is apparently nowhere near as dangerous and vile. He presents himself as a fun-loving and easy-going individual who seemingly has no bad blood with Thor, Odin, or any of the Asgardians. He is also somewhat dimwitted and clumsy, seen through the messes he created during Thor's party on Earth.
