Ororo Munroe was a member of the X-Men who was dubbed Storm.
Biography[]
Mutant Genocide[]
Storm was a member of the X-Men, along with Charles Xavier, Scott Summers, Hank McCoy and Jean Grey. When they welcomed Logan into their team, Storm and others insisted on him to wear a suit they gave to him; however, Logan rejected them and left. At that time, the X-Mansion was attacked by an anti-mutant lynch mob which resulted in deaths of Storm and the rest of the X-Men.[2]

- In the comics, Ororo Munroe is an omega level mutant who has the ability to control the weather and a descendant from a line of African voodoo priestesses. She was a member of the X-Men, and the Queen of Wakanda due to marriage to T'Challa.
Behind the Scenes[]
- Halle Berry, who previously portrayed Storm in 20th Century Fox's X-Men film series, was interested in reprising her role for Deadpool & Wolverine much like her co-star Hugh Jackman did as Wolverine. Upon running into Ryan Reynolds' wife Blake Lively at a Marc Jacobs fashion show and being asked by Lively if she would be in the film, Berry said she would accept the offer if Reynolds asked her, which he never did.[3]
