Winter Soldier to Captain America[src]

Captain Steven Grant "Steve" Rogers was a World War II veteran, a recipient of the Super Soldier Serum, and a founding member of the Avengers known as Captain America. In 2018, he was turned into a zombie by Hank Pym at the beginning of the Zombie Apocalypse. As a zombie, Rogers ambushed and infected Sharon Carter and tried to attack Bucky Barnes, only to be sliced in half by Barnes throwing him back his own shield, which only incapacitated him.

Later, Rogers was summoned to another world by Strange Supreme to help confront Ultron, but was swiftly thought to be killed again when the A.I. destroyed the planet he was on. However, he survived and later returned to his universe, where he was enthralled by Red Queen at some point after five years following the start of the apocalypse. Participating in the Siege of the North Institute, Rogers was thrown onto the roof of the Institute by Zombie Abomination and infiltrated it by going through the air ducts, where he confronted and fought Red Guardian, only to be crushed by him.
