Captain Steven Grant "Steve" Rogers, also known as Captain America, is a World War II veteran and recipient of the Super Soldier Serum, who crashed into the Arctic during a crucial mission of the war. Rogers spent sixty-six years unconscious and frozen in ice under a state of suspended animation before he was eventually found by Nick Fury, who wanted his help in order to stop Loki's conquest of Earth.

A New Fight[]

During the World War II, Steve Rogers crashed into the Arctic and was frozen for almost seventy years, believed to be killed in action. In 2010, Rogers' frozen body was discovered by S.H.I.E.L.D., and Nick Fury recruited him into the Avengers, together with Carol Danvers.[3] Rogers joined forces with Danvers and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to fight against Loki and his Einherjar army in an attempt to retake the Helicarrier from Asgardians.[4]

- Artificially Enhanced Physiology: The Super Soldier Serum enhanced all of Rogers' bodily functions, such as his strength, durability, speed, agility, stamina, reflexes, senses, healing, and lifespan to superhuman levels.
- Enhanced Intelligence: Rogers' intelligence was enhanced, making him smarter than he once was.
- Enhanced Strength: Due to the Super Soldier Serum Rogers' strength was enhanced, Rogers' strength is to such a point that he is able to battle the Einherjar.
- Enhanced Durability: The Super Soldier Serum enhanced Rogers' durability, making him much stringer then he was before.
- Enhanced Speed: The Super Soldier Serum enhanced Roger's speed, his speed is now comparable to the Asgardian warriors.

- Longevity: As a result of the Super Soldier Serum, Rogers ages much slower than the normal human. This kept him alive and halted his aging while being frozen in ice and placed in a cryogenic state.

- Master Martial Artist: Rogers' is shown to be an excellent martial artist, being able to fight against Einherjar.
- Shield Mastery: Rogers' years of training and experience with his unique shield, as well as its physical properties, allow him to accomplish amazing feats with the item.
- Master Marksman: Due to Rogers' military training, he has become a highly skilled marksman.

- Vibranium Shield: Rogers' primary weapon is his concave disk shield. The shield is about 2.5 feet in diameter, weighing 12 pounds painted in its familiar red-white-and-blue pattern with a five-pointed star design in its center. The shield is made from Vibranium only and can be used as a throwing weapon and is able to absorb any kind of impact.

- Captain America's likeness is based off of Chris Evans.
- Compared to the original line-up of the Avengers, Captain America is the only one to actually become an Avenger like his original counterpart.
