- "I know this seems silly, but the arm is being programmed to respond to the remaining nerve endings in your limb. The muscles flex and send a signal to the prosthetic to respond accordingly. It's not as simple as linking a cell phone to your car with Bluetooth. It takes some time before it clicks. Trust me."
- ―Steve to Misty Knight
Upgrade for Misty Knight
When Misty Knight was equipped by bionic arm designed by Rand Enterprises, Steve was assigned to test and set it up. He asked Knight to open and close her arm and take a mug. While she did that, Steve recorded every movement and configure it. He explained to her that arm was programmed to respond to the remaining nerve endings in her limb. Also, the muscles are flex and send a signal to the prosthetic to respond accordingly.
- Expert Technician: As a skilled technician, Steve was able to configure all bionic arm's movements and set it up.
