Shaw Giving Advice
"Come on. I never totally fit in with the gang, anyway."
The subject of this article is part of an MCU franchise story that has been officially deemed to be non-canonical to the primary continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Its events instead occur in another reality within the Multiverse. This universe is designated by the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki as the "Stark Weapons Smuggling Conspiracy Universe".

The Stark MS313 Plasma Rifle is a highly advanced weapon developed by Stark Industries.

History[]

Following Tony Stark's announcement that Stark Industries would no longer be manufacturing weapons, the Stark MS313 Plasma Rifles were discontinued. However, several rifles were reverse-engineered and sold through the Maggia. One Maggia member met with a criminal named Mickey to sell him one of the rifles. Mickey doubted that the weapon was real, as he knew Stark was not selling the rifles anymore. The seller told him that that was true, which was the reason why the rifles were so expensive and in high demand. Suddenly, Iron Man arrived to stop the sale, dangling Mickey off of a roof until he admitted that he was working with the Maggia and informed him about a warehouse containing an additional cache of rifles. Iron Man followed up on this lead, taking out the Maggia members in the warehouse and destroying the machines they used to construct the rifles. However, he soon realized that the rifles were only cheaply-made copies of his weapons.[1]

Capabilities[]

The Stark MS313 Plasma Rifle consists of a dual pulse core, an automatic repeater, a 100x zoom laser sight, and a GPS, though the GPS can be turned off with modifications. While the rifle is normally quite effective, being in high demand from criminals, the Mark III Iron Man Armor is immune to its effects, as Tony Stark designed the suit so that his own weapons would be ineffective against it.[1]
