Bounty Hunters Attack[]
The Nova Corps used the Star Blasters' tractor beams to subdue Rocket, Groot and Gamora after their fight on Xandar.[1]
Battle of Xandar[]
During the Battle of Xandar, Garthan Saal led a fleet of Star Blasters to defend Xandar from Ronan the Accuser's Dark Aster. The fleet linked together to blockade the Dark Aster until Ronan used his Universal Weapon powered by the Orb to destroy the fleet and kill Saal.[1]

The Star Blasters are capable of creating an energy barrier by linking to adjacent ships. The Star Blasters also have tractor beams capable of incapacitating criminals, and can also fire a red colored beam to destroy hostile ships.
