Standing up to Loki[]

"Kneel!"
"Not to a mischievous menace like you!"
"Look to your elder, people. Let him be an example."
Loki and Stan Lee[src]

Lee was among the crowd of civilians in Stuttgart when Loki made his entrance and demanded people to kneel before him. While other complied, Lee was the one to stand up and told Loki that they would not kneel to a mischievous menace like him. In response, Loki pointed his Scepter at Lee, intending to kill him as an example to others, but Captain America saved him by jumping in and deflecting the energy blast with his shield.[2]

Attack on the Helicarrier[]

"Get off me, you big ape!"
―Stan Lee to Hulk[src]

When S.H.I.E.L.D. was under attack perpetrated by Loki and an enraged Hulk was tearing through the Helicarrier, Lee was given an order by Maria Hill to engage. Lee boarded a S.H.I.E.L.D. Jump Jet and flew closer to Hulk's location, opening fire at him and distracting him from his fight with Thor. However, to Lee's horror, it only enraged Hulk even more and he attacked the jet, tearing it down, causing both of them to crash. Later, when Hulk transformed back to Banner, Lee found him and provided him with a spare pair of pants.[2]

Avengers Party Cleanup[]

In an aftermath of Ultron's attack on the Avengers, Lee was put in charge of cleaning up at Avengers Tower. As he swept the floors and moved in to dust off the table, he saw the Mjølnir and lifted it, so it would not get in the way. However, the hammer responded to his touch and spontaneously blasted a lightning at a nearby sofa, so Lee promptly put it back where it was and walked away.[2]

"Get a job in Korea, they said! Safer than New York, they said!"
―Stan Lee[src]

Eventually, Lee moved out of New York City to Seoul and started working as a train conductor. When Captain America, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff fought Ultron on his train, Lee approached Quicksilver and asked him for his tickets. Quicksilver admitted that he had no tickets on him and was about to pay Lee in cash, but Ultron fired a blast at them, and Lee was thrown out of the train and on the tracks. Lee complained that living in South Korea was not safer than in New York as he was told, before noticing the train advancing on him and moving out of its way.[2]

Battle of Sokovia[]

"I adore you... but I need the other guy."
"The other guy? I thought she'd never ask!"
Black Widow and Stan Lee[src]

Later, Lee found himself in Sokovia, when Ultron lifted Novi Grad in the sky and Bruce Banner came to rescue Black Widow from HYDRA Research Base. He heard Black Widow saying that she needed the "other guy" and interpreted it as her choosing Lee instead of Banner, being glad that she finally noticed him. But before Lee could approach her, Hulk emerged and picked Black Widow to join the battle against Ultron, so Lee complained that he can never get a break and walked away.[2]
