Behind the Scenes[]
Continuity[]
This comic was released as promotion for Spider-Man: Homecoming, yet it contradicts the movie in two significant areas. First, Monica Warren in the comic teaches chemistry and is white, whereas in the film she is a black physics teacher. Furthermore, Herman Schultz appears in the comic as a criminal acting as Shocker on his own. In the film, Schultz is the second Shocker after Jackson Brice and went to prison while still a part of Adrian Toomes' Crew. Because of these significant differences, this comic is considered non-canon.
