Continuity[]

The book has several differences with the film. For example, Happy Hogan is present at Peter Parker's residence when he is packing his suitcase. The book ignores the events of the Elemental Crisis. Parker gets to attend the opera with his friends, and then they go to the Prague Carnival. The rest of their trip remains uninterrupted. Therefore, per our canon policy, this material is deemed non-canon.
