- Upon Fury & Hill's arrival in Ixtenco, Mexico, Hill addressed Fury as "Nick" when he is always addressed as "Fury" as he previously told Carol Danvers back in 1995, even his own mother calls him Fury. This is the earliest indicator Fury is actually Talos.
- Upon Parker's introduction to Mysterio, Fury says, "He's from Earth, just not yours" another indicator Fury is really Talos.
- During the "in memorial" video at MSST Morning segment, the images used in the tribute video were taken from various events across the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- Black Widow during her presence at the signing of the Sokovia Accords.

- The Elementals are based on minor elemental-based villains of Spider-Man in the comics: Morris Bench/Hydro-Man, Flint Marko/Sandman, Mark Raxton/Molten Man, and André Gerard/Cyclone.
- Morris Bench, the human alias of Hydro-Man in the comics, is mentioned in a venetian paper as a man involved in a water accident as the possible human identity of the Water Elemental.
- As part of his cover story, Mysterio identified the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Earth-616 and claimed his home reality as Earth-833; these numbers respectively belong to the main continuity in the comics and the home reality of Spider-UK, while the Marvel Cinematic Universe's actual reality code number is Earth-199999.

Scrapped Content
