Rescue of Shuri and Riri Williams[]
Instructed by Queen Ramonda to get back Shuri and Riri Williams, Nakia traveled to Namor's Cenote to rescue the pair. While escaping with them, a Talokanil guard happened upon them and Nakia shot her with the Sonic Rifle. The rifle did enough damage to mortally wound the guard, with Shuri and Nakia leaving her to die.[1]

The Sonic Rifle is a sonic powered rife that can sustain being underwater. It is powerful enough to mortally wound a target at close range without treatment.
