The Solovyov Air Helicopter Ми-8 is a helicopter used by Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova to liberate Alexei Shostakov.

Planning to liberate Alexei Shostakov from the prison, Natasha Romanoff contacted Rick Mason and requested a plane, however, since Mason did not have enough time and money, he provided them with the Solovyov Air helicopter. Romanoff and Yelena Belova took the helicopter and flew to Russia and helped Shostakov to escape from the Seventh Circle Prison, as Romanoff jumped out of the helicopter and assisted him by fighting off prison guards. As Belova accidentally caused an avalanche, Romanoff hung from the helicopter and grabbed Shostakov before he could be killed, and brought him on board the aircraft. When Shostakov suggested enlisting Melina Vostokoff for help, the three of them crash landed in Saint Petersburg and walked all the way to Vostokoff's homestead.[1]
