The Snap[4] was the killing of a significant portion of the population of the universe.

Thanos began his quest to collect the Infinity Stones, which Thor became aware of. He began investigating using the little information he had about Thanos and his own allies, the Avengers.[5] Thor eventually left Earth during this investigation.[6]

Thanos eventually obtained all of the Infinity Stones[4] and placed them in the Infinity Gauntlet.[5] He snapped his fingers, resulting in the deaths of a significant portion of the population. Darryl Jacobson was among the survivors of the mass killings, although a number of his coworkers were not.[4]
Aftermath[]
As the world worked to adjust, companies such as those where Darryl Jacobson worked found themselves without a significant portion of their workforce. Employees such as Jacobson found their workload increased, and Jacobson had to start working on Sundays. Jacobson filmed a video to wish his former housemate Thor a happy birthday and ask for a loan to get out of the debt he was in.[4]
