Escape from the Power Broker[]
While on the run from the Power Broker, the Flag Smashers arrived at an airport in Bratislava, Slovakia and loaded a plane with vaccines they had stolen. They discovered that soldiers were after them, so Matias chose to sacrifice himself by distracting the soldiers. He ran off while the Flag Smashers finished loading the vaccines and boarded the plane.
Matias knocked down a telephone pole and confronted the soldiers, who killed him as the Flag Smashers' plane took off. The Flag Smashers mourned their friend, and one of the soldiers called and told the Power Broker that the group had escaped.[1]
