Mysterio to Talos and Soren[src]

The Skirmish in Mexico was the first of the Elemental attacks that was orchestrated by Quentin Beck, aimed at gaining the trust of Nick Fury and Maria Hill, unaware that they were being impersonated by the Skrulls Talos and Soren at the time.

Background

This section requires expansion

Following reports of a "storm with a face," Talos and Soren, impersonating Nick Fury and Maria Hill, arrived in Ixtenco, Mexico, where they found the town in ruins from a recent storm.[1]

Skirmish

"We're fighting the weather now?"
Soren[src]

Startled by the sudden arrival of Mysterio, Sandman, a large monster made of Earth, arose and attacked them. Talos and Soren began to fire at Sandman as it roared across the area. Mysterio then blasted energy from his hands, seemingly destroying the monster.[1]

Aftermath

This section needs a rewrite

After Mysterio "destroyed" the Elemental, he joins with Talos and Soren, to stop the other three Elementals that are about to attack around the world. Talos had to contact Spider-Man in order to gain assistance from him, only to get ignored, resulting in his hijacking of Parker's summer field trip to Europe.[1]
