The Skirmish at Conjunction's Casino was a brawl fight started by Gamora against Gorfrad and other patrons who tried to rob her.
Background[]
Gamora walked through Conjunction and visited Conjunction's Casino. She was stopped by Gorfrad, asking her what was in her wallets. Gamora figured out that Gorfrad was trying to rob her.[1]
Skirmish[]
Rather than let herself be robbed, Gamora cut two of Gorfrad's arms off. Gorfrad cried in pain, but Gamora dismissed him. Several other patrons saw what had happened and attacked Gamora for it. She decapitated one of the patrons and fought several others, kicking two of them out of the bar. Gamora asked if anybody else wanted to challenge her, but the Collector interrupted the fight by introducing himself.[1]
Aftermath[]
The Collector talked to Gamora, offering her a chance to protect the Orb, so that Ronan the Accuser would not get it. Because of her mistrust for Ronan, Gamora agreed to retrieve the Orb for the Collector. The Collector told Gamora that the Orb was on Morag, and she began searching for it.[1]
