Behind the Scenes[]
- Nathan Fillion was cast by James Gunn as Simon Williams, since Gunn has included Fillion in all of his movies. However, with his appearance being cut from the finished film, it makes Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 to be Gunn's only film to not include Fillion.[3] Due to the scene being cut, Marvel Studios chose Yahya Abdul-Mateen II to portray Simon Williams/Wonder Man in Wonder Man.[4]
