Lady Sif is a reconstruction of one of Loki's memories created by one of the Time Variance Authority's Time Cells in order to torture Loki.

Biography[]

Time Loop[]

"You deserve to be alone and you always will be."

Sif was created by the Time Variance Authority as a recreation of the event where the real Sif discovered that Loki had cut part of her hair off^[1] after sleeping with her.^[2] As Loki was thrown into a Time Cell, the first iteration of Sif appeared and scolded Loki, declaring that he would forever be alone and hitting him to the ground. As Sif walked away, Loki bragged about how the event did not affect him, but then another iteration of Sif appeared, revealing to Loki that he was in a loop of the same moment. Sif repeated the insults, hitting him and walking away again.

Lady Sif & Loki — Sif attacks Loki again

Another Sif appeared, and Loki attempted to stop her. Sif slapped Loki and started to repeat that he deserved to be alone, but Loki finished her sentence. Loki explained Sif's nature to her, asking if Sif trusted him and would help him. Sif feigned believing Loki and put her hands on his shoulders, only to hit him to the ground again and call him pathetic before walking away.^[1]

Sif continued through the time loop, coming out again and insulting Loki, who was on his knees. However, Loki simply begged Sif to stop and acknowledged that he was a horrible person. He admitted to Sif that he craved attention and was scared of being alone. Sif hesitated and helped Loki to his feet. Sif then angrily agreed that Loki was alone and added that he always would be before walking away. Sif then stopped the loop as Loki was released from the Time Cell by Mobius M. Mobius.^[1]
