Shikoba helps plan the Choctaw Nation Powwow
Shikoba went to plan the layout of the Haskell County Fairgrounds for the Choctaw Nation Powwow. Shikoba listened to Chula Battiest then thanked her for her hard work in the planning, even when her granddaughter, Maya Lopez, was back in town. Ramona chimed in, saying how excited she was to see Maya talking to Henry Lopez at Black Crow's SkateLife.[1]

On the night of the Choctaw Nation Powwow, Shikoba got the powwow started. He then was the emcee for the event while it unfolded. He went to say something but was interrupted when he mistook a missile for a firework that exploded in the air above him. He applauded this explosion as a celebration.[2]
