Agent Shade is a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative assigned to the Hub. During the Hydra Uprising she worked with Victoria Hand to maintain the security of the Hub against Hydra.
Biography[]
Hydra Uprising[]
Shade was one of a few agents that Victoria Hand trusted when the Hydra Uprising started. She was present in the Hub when Hand ordered the death of Coulson's Team and John Garrett because she believed they were all Hydra sleeper agents. When Hand found Antoine Triplett and Jemma Simmons and offered them a choice of being S.H.I.E.L.D. agents or pledging their loyalty to Hydra, Shade witnessed as Triplett grabbed Chaimson and held him at gunpoint, declaring his loyalty to S.H.I.E.L.D.[1]
As Phil Coulson commanded the Hub in Hand's absence, Shade was told by him to contact with Martin for a back-door channel to the United Nations.[2]
