Sergei Mishkin were several Life-Model Decoys of the real Sergei Mishkin who were controlled by Aida and the Superior. These decoys were destroyed by Ghost Rider.
History[]
Created by Aida[]
Multiple Life-Model Decoys[]
Aida created Life-Model Decoys of the real Sergei Mishkin after devising her plan of infiltrating the S.H.I.E.L.D. International Intelligence Inquiry. However, she expressed second thoughts at the idea as the LMDs tended to occasionally annoy her.[1]
Ghost Rider's Assault[]
- "I've come for that."
- ―Ghost Rider to Sergei Mishkin's LMD[src]
Ghost Rider drove his Hell Charger to the facility where Aida and her Life-Model Decoys were hiding. One LMD of both Mishkin and the Superior left, leaving only one Mishkin's LMD and Superior's LMD to defend Aida. When Ghost Rider demanded to be given the Darkhold, Mishkin's LMD attacked him. However, he was quickly defeated by Ghost Rider and destroyed with the Hellfire Chain. After Aida escaped, S.H.I.E.L.D. came to the facility and Melinda May reclaimed the head of Mishkin's LMD for identification.[1]
S.H.I.E.L.D. International Inquiry[]
- "Read this. You'll see the answer!"
- ―Sergei Mishkin's LMD to Glenn Talbot[src]
Posing as the real Sergei Mishkin, another Mishkin's LMD joined the S.H.I.E.L.D. International Intelligence Inquiry. During a meeting where he had brought the Superior's LMD, the two Russian representatives claimed that S.H.I.E.L.D. was weaponizing Inhumans and that both S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Inhumans had to be destroyed. Mishkin's LMD produced the Darkhold, stating that all the answers were to be found in the book.
After Daisy Johnson's LMD shot at General Glenn Talbot, S.H.I.E.L.D. joined the fight and Phil Coulson and Melinda May shot at Mishkin's LMD multiple times. The android managed to escape to the storage room where Quake and Ghost Rider were confronting Aida. After Aida had then teleported away, Mishkin's LMD fought against Ghost Rider, who was armed with the Hellfire Chain, as Mishkin's LMD took a steel pole to fight. Mishin's LMD was then finally destroyed by Ghost Rider, who had managed to pin him down against the table as he drilled in the LMD's eye, ripping out the mechanics inside, before the Superior and the other LMDs defending Aida were destroyed.[1]
Powers and Abilities[]
Powers[]
- Android Physiology: Being an android, LMD Mishkin's physiology was superior than regular humans. Moreover, like all the LMDs built after Aida, LMD Mishkin was powered and animated by a Quantum Brain, a replica of a human brain which displayed the same complexity and capabilities than its biological counterpart but was only made of light.
- Enhanced Strength: Being an android, Mishkin was stronger than his counterpart, but on par with Ghost Rider whom he battled until his destruction.
- Enhanced Durability: As an android, the mechanical structure of LMD Mishkin's body made him more resilient than humans. He managed to withstand several gunshots from Phil Coulson and Melinda May. However he was not impervious to damage, and his decoy bodies were destroyed in his fights against Ghost Rider.
- Enhanced Stamina: His power source allowed the LMD to exert himself for long periods of time without rest between charges. Since replacing the actual Mishkin, the numerous Miskin decoys worked towards Aida's mission without stopping until each body was destroyed.
- Enhanced Reflexes: His Quantum Brain was programmed with a shorter reaction time than humans, allowing him to dodge blows while fighting.
- Enhanced Vision: Like all the Life-Model Decoys built according to Holden Radcliffe's plans, LMD Mishkin was equipped with a Backscatter X-Ray Eye Implant that granted him the ability to see in the dark and through solid objects.
- Longevity: Potentially, as a Life-Model Decoy, Mishkin's internal power source would have allowed him to last for years. However, he was destroyed not long after being built.
- Pain Immunity: The synthetic nervous system within the Life-Model Decoys was tweaked once Aida experienced pain herself, disabling all subsequent decoys from the feeling that was intended to accurately mimic human reaction. Therefore, LMD Mishkin suffered no actual pain.
Abilities[]
- Combatant: Mishkin's LMDs were pogrammed with combat skills, and they attempted to hold their own in fights against Ghost Rider and Quake, only to be destroyed evey time.
