- "Find Senfu's sarcophagus and you'll find your tomb."
- ―Yatzil to Marc Spector[src]
Senfu's Sarcophagus was the sarcophagus of the medjay Senfu, on which the coordinates to Ammit's tomb are transcribed. It was later destroyed by Arthur Harrow.
History[]
Some time after the death of the medjay Senfu, he was placed in a sarcophagus, along with coordinates that mapped the way to the Tomb of Alexander the Great, which contained the imprisoned Ammit. The coordinates used the stars to map the way, and were buried alongside Senfu. Long after Senfu's death, the sarcophagus was stolen and sold on black market to Anton Mogart, who had the artefact placed in his collection, within a glass pyramid displayed for all to see.
Mogart was visited by Layla El-Faouly and Marc Spector, who sought the coordinates to the Tomb. Mogart gladly showed them to the sarcophagus, but soon became suspicious, and attempted to detain the couple when it became clear they needed the coordinates. Things became even more complicated with the arrival of Arthur Harrow and the Disciples of Ammit, who were also seeking the Tomb. Harrow approached Mogart and demonstrated the power of the gods by using his staff to conjure energy that tore the sarcophagus apart, though El-Faouly was able to retrieve the star map that showed the way to Ammit's tomb.[1]
