Selene acts as a hostage for Devlin
Working with Luca and Devlin, Selene participated in their plan to steal a diamond from New York Mutual Bank and use it pay restitution to Viktor. On St. Patrick's Day, Selene arrived at the bank, acting as an ordinary citizen, so she could play a role of the decoy hostage when Devlin and his men arrive. Once the robbers showed up and took other attendees hostage, Devlin personally brought Selene over to the others and demanded Steven Aldrich to come come forward. As nobody responded, Selene said that the bank manager was obviously absent, so Devlin approached Yusuf Khan and pressured him into opening the vault.

While the bank was surrounded by the New York City Police Department and Devlin focused on keeping them at bay, Selene talked to Johnny Santini, who knew that the robbers would not find any cash inside the vault. Selene suggested that the robbers were likely after diamonds stored at safety deposit boxes in the vault, before addressing Matt Murdock. She appreciated Murdock convincing Devlin to release a married couple instead of him, but asked to keep it down and not put others in trouble.

Later, Murdock and Devlin had a stand off right before the police was about to raid the bank, and Murdock revealed that he obtained the diamond Devlin was after, throwing the pouch over to him. Once the SWAT stormed the bank, neutralizing the robbers, Devlin secretly handed over the pouch to Selene, instructing her to give it to Luca. As Devlin slipped away in the chaos, Selene exited the bank but on her way to Luca, she checked the pouch and found a candy inside, realizing that Murdock fooled them.[2]
