The Seed of Drez-Lar was a seed with great history that was involved in a prophecy known by Watcher.
History[]
The Great Prophecy[]
Being the only remaining seed of Drez-Lar, it inspired a prophecy in which a brave hero shall help the seed grow and "usher the universe into a glorious new age". An ancient mural inside the temple in which the seed was preserved described the prophecy and explained secrets that were supposed to lead its reader to its fulfillment.[1]
Destruction[]
As Groot entered the temple and triggered traps, he also made lava flow towards the seed, ultimately destroying it. Unlike what the Watcher believed the prophecy described, Groot was not able to save the seed. [1]
