- "There's nothin' to worry about. Everything is fine. You're just meeting up with Norman Osborn to discuss the fact that he knows you're... Spider-Man. This is totally, perfectly, incredibly fine."
- ―Peter Parker
Secret Identity Crisis is the third episode of the first season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
Synopsis[]
Peter deals with the fallout of his secret revealed. Meanwhile, Lonnie's perfect life falls apart.
Plot[]

In Norman Osborn's office, Peter Parker learns that Osborn knows he is Spider-Man. Osborn informs Parker that his secret will be kept. The next night, Parker and Nico Minoru play video games at the O'Hara Residence, where Minoru offers to help Peter get out of Oscorp. Parker declines, mentioning a dinner Osborn scheduled for them that night. Minoru advises Parker to keep his guard up before leaving to help Susan O'Hara.

Peter Parker and Norman Osborn have dinner
Parker walks to Eden where Osborn scheduled dinner, and enters to find the entire building empty except Osborn, who welcomes him and informs him that he rented the entire restaurant to ensure privacy. After they order, Osborn directs the conversation to Parker's secret identity, and although he tries to deny it, Parker eventually confesses. Osborn explains how he narrowed Spider-Man's alter ego down to Parker and the other Oscorp interns and suggests giving Parker help.

James Sanders and Maria Vasquez receive weapons
Parker politely declines and attempts to resign from Oscorp, but Osborn convinces him to reconsider. Meanwhile, outside an alley, Maria Vasquez and Speed Demon text with an unknown person and follow their instructions, resulting in the two acquiring a case with blades and speed-enhancing boots. Parker returns home to find May preparing to sell Ben's old belongings. May explains that some things just need to be done.

The friend group have lunch together
The next day at school, Peter and Minoru discuss whether or not Parker should quit his job before the two are waved over by Lonnie Lincoln and Pearl Pangan from the lunch line. Lincoln insists on paying for his friends' meals but finds he cannot buy himself a meal, so he settles for an apple. Upon sitting down, he gets a call from his distressed mother and soon asks if Pangan can drive him home. When he arrives, he finds a police officer with his father on their stoop.

Lonnie Lincoln comforts his mother
Lincoln enters and is informed by his mother that his brother Andre had vandalized a building with a gang. Angered, Lincoln barges into his brother's room, only to find that he left through his window. Meanwhile, Speed Demon and Tarantula rob a jewelry store with their new equipment. Spider-Man notices police cars headed towards the area, so he follows them and arrives just in time to save a security guard from Speed Demon.

Speed Demon and Maria Vasquez face Spider-Man
While Spider-Man fights the duo, Lonnie arrives at the gang's hideout and demands Andre come home. However, Big Donovan tells Lincoln that will not happen as Andre is part of a family now. Lincoln offers himself in Andre's place, and Big Donovan accepts. Back at the scene of the robbery, Spider-Man is outmatched until Osborn comes on his police scanner via the Oscorp satellite and advises Peter to listen for an overdrive signal from Speed Demon's boots.

Lonnie Lincoln joins the 110th Street Gang
Taking Osborn's advice, Spider-Man finds the perfect moment to create a web tripwire, flinging Speed Demon into Tarantula and webbing them together. As the police detain the duo, Spider-Man notices a symbol on their gear that is identical to one on Butane's gauntlets. Spider-Man returns to Osborn's office and thanks him for his help before welcoming him to the team. They shake on it while Lincoln shakes Big Donovan's hand, officially joining the gang.
