Searching for Secrets is the second episode of the first season of the web series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Double Agent.
Synopsis[]
The double agent visits various production departments. He uses the opportunity to secretly gather Intel for The Mastermind and in the process meets Adrianne Palicki (Agent Bobbi Morse), Costume Designer Ann Foley, and Prop Master Scott Bauer. But Marvel Security is always watching.
Plot[]
Alex Mind sets up a camera in an elevator. The Mastermind instructs him to enter the Writers' office, as all of the secrets they are looking for will be in there.
Sam finds Mind lurking around the Writers' room and tells him never to bother the writers. She then instructs him to give schedules to every department in person, warning him that he will be in big trouble if security finds them lying around.
Mind enters the costume department and tries on a jacket belonging to Lance Hunter, but is discovered by Adrianne Palicki and Ann Foley. Palicki compliments him on how the jacket looks on him, but asks what he is doing there. He offers her a schedule, but she informs him that she already has one. Foley reminds him to take off the jacket before he leaves.
Mind then heads to the prop department and begins fiddling with props until he finds the Destroyer Armor Prototype Gun. He starts showing off with it and then finds a Diviner, but is discovered by Scott Bauer who warns him not to touch it as it is against union rules. Bauer informs him that the most important props are kept there for safekeeping before Sam reminds Mind to continue giving out schedules.
Mind then enters the art department and begins taking photos of the concept art and set photos of Robert Gonzales' headquarters. He is found by Dirk, who wonders what he is doing there due to the fact that he does not work in the art department. Mind insists that he was just getting to know the building. Dirk commends him for his commitment to his job but insists that he come to him in future. Mind apologizes for alarming Dirk, but turns to find that he has mysteriusly disappeared.
