Tilden's Last Moments[]

"His name is Alex Tilden. He's pinned in there, under the truck. They tell me his femoral artery is severed. The moment they free him, he'll bleed out and die. He should be dead already."

Okamoto gets checked out

Alex Tilden got possessed by a demon and asked for his last rites to be read, so the authorities called Father Sean Okamoto. He arrived and began to say the prayer, but "Tilden" then bit Okamoto's arm. Suddenly, a car mirror flew at Okamoto, causing him to realize that Tilden was possessed. He called Gabriella Rosetti for help, and she arrived with Daimon Helstrom, whom Rosetti had mentioned on the phone, while Okamoto was being looked at by a medic.

Okamoto talks to Rosetti and Helstrom

Okamoto told the two what had happened, and although Helstrom was at first skeptical, he believed Okamoto once he mentioned the mirror. Okamoto showed the two where Tilden was. He told the pair that Tilden should have been dead already from the injuries, and that if they freed from the car wreck, he would die. Okamoto explained that the demon had caused the accident and urged Rosetti to have Helstrom exorcise Tilden before he died, so that his soul could be save. Rosetti promised to do their best, and Okamoto wished them divine protection. After Tilden had been exorcised and finally died, Okamoto joined Rosetti in expressing their condolences to the Tilden family.[1]
