The Scientific American was the private yacht of Ignatius Bixby and Brizan Versteeg.

History[]

Ignatius Bixby and Brizan Versteeg purchased the yacht together and co-owned it prior to the Decimation. Bixby used this fact to identify that Erik Selvig wasn't actually Versteeg when he was using Versteeg's name tag to infiltrate Bixby's scientific convention, Bixby-Con.[1]
