The Scalluscs are a race of snail-like creatures often harvested for their shells.
History[]
Rocket Raccoon and his partner Groot were hired by Sqqd'li, under the orders of his employer, the crime lord Zade Scraggot, to retrieve a package containing a family of sentient Scalluscs that were being held in the highly secure "Uptown" section of The Hub.
After learning that the Scalluscs had money and could double Scraggot's pay, Rocket and Groot rescued the Scalluscs from their cruel fate after a brief scuffle with Scraggot and his men.[1]
Characteristic Traits[]
Scalluscs have appearances similar to snails from Earth; however, their shells have a resemblance closer to sea mollusks. The female of the species can be distinguished by its having "eye lashes" whereas the males do not.
