Sarge's Tracker was a device used by Sarge's Squad to track down the Shrike on different planets they went to on their campaign to kill Izel.
History[]
Throughout his campaign against Izel, Sarge and his squad had a device capable of tracking the Shrike down and kill them. It worked in junction with the Shrike Detector; after the detector made a grid of the planet, the tracker would be able to pick up the signals of the local Shrike.
After arriving on Earth and retrieving PEGs to power the Shrike Detector, Sarge and his squad got readings on the Shrike that were currently on the planet.[1]
Using the information gathered by the detector, Jaco used the tracker to pinpoint a Shrike possessing Harold Simcoe and the squad swiftly took him out. They later tracked Deke Shaw, which the tracker mistook as a Shrike and tried to kill him before S.H.I.E.L.D. interfered and captured Jaco and Pax.[2]
When Sarge and Snowflake captured Melinda May, Sarge gave Snowflake the mission to capture a nearby Shrike and bring it to him to try and recruit May to their squad. She took the tracker and successfully captured the Shrike.[3]
After May captured Sarge and Snowflake and took them back to the Lighthouse, Alphonso Mackenzie had Shaw hack the tracker so S.H.I.E.L.D. could track the Shrike down. Shaw managed to accomplish the task and they were able to capture two Shrike only for them to go berserk on Zephyr One, forcing Mackenzie to meet Sarge's demands and put him in charge.[4]
When Sarge formed a temporary alliance with S.H.I.E.L.D. to hunt kill Izel, his tracker went off indicating that the Shrike Tower was being formed.[5] While tracking Izel at the Temple of the Forgotten, Sarge used the tracker to spot any Shrike that were approaching him, May, and Daisy Johnson.[6]
After Sarge joined Izel, the tracker was abandoned.[6]
