When Tony Stark tested the flight capabilities of his Mark II Iron Man armor for the first time, he flew over Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier. He was seen by two children, one of whom dropped his ice cream.[1]

Mark III Test[]
In an alternate universe, Tony Stark tested his Mark III Iron Man armor by flying it near Pacific Park.[2]
Childlike Joy[]
In an alternate universe, Tony Stark tested the Mark II armor by flying it down the coast of California, coming across Pacific Park. He flew close enough to see a young boy, but remained too far away to make eye contact. Stark felt a connection with the child as he identified the exhilaration that came from flying in the armor.[3]
Vibrating Ferris Wheel[]
In an alternate universe, people visited the Santa Monica Pier and saw an object flying in the sky, which was Tony Stark testing the Mark II Iron Man armor. He passed the Ferris wheel at Pacific Park and caused it to vibrate.[4]
Mark II Test Flight[]
In order to test out the Mark II Iron Man Armor, Tony Stark traveled from his mansion to the Santa Monica Pier. Upon reaching the pier, people looked on in awe as they saw the Mark II zoom past a ferris wheel.[5]
