Samuel John LaRoquette was a soldier for the Strategic Operations Command Center under Emil Blonsky who was killed in a mission to capture Bruce Banner.
Biography[]
Ambush in Porto Verde[]
LaRoquette and the Strategic Operations Command Center went to Rocinha to ambush Bruce Banner, who was a target of Thaddeus Ross, who described Banner as very dangerous. Lardguette put on his night vision goggles once they chased Banner into the Pingo Doce Bottling Plant. Once there, LaRoquette saw as Banner mutated into a big, green Hulk. He and John Armbruster charged at Hulk, shooting many tranquilizer darts at him. However, they only saw the darts bounce off of the tough skin. Hulk then turned around and ran at LaRoquette, who failed to reload. Hulk then grabbed LaRoquette and killed him.[1]

- Tranquilizer Rifle: With orders not to kill Bruce Banner, LaRoquette was armed with tranquilizer darts. However, the darts did not penetrate Hulk's skin.

- Night Vision Goggles: In order to see in the dark, LaRoquette wore night vision goggles to find Hulk.
- Bulletproof Vest: To protect himself from Hulk, LaRoquette wore a bulletproof vest.

- In the comics, Sam LaRoquette is a professor and member of the Hulkbusters named Rock who swore vengeance against anyone with Gamma Radiated blood when his lover was killed.
