Being a leader of the Colon Crime Family, Salvador Colon established the drug trafficking business, based in Spanish Harlem. Colon's attempts to expand his business would be halted by Mama Mabel, as the Stokes Crime Family's creed was to never deal with drugs. However, Colon was approached by Pistol Pete who saw the potential to take over the entirety of New York City's criminal underworld by allying with Colon, without telling Mabel. While Domingo Colon stayed with Cornell Stokes, Colon and Pete negotiated the partnership between their organizations, however, Pete ended up being killed when Mabel found out about his betrayal.[1]
