- "Wait. Did we hit a spaceship?”
“Yeah. Sakaaran Class-Eight Courier Craft." - ―Jennifer Walters and Bruce Banner[src]
Sakaaran Class-Eight Courier Craft are a class of spacecraft from the planet Sakaar.
History[]
Origins[]
The Sakaaran Courier Crafts were made in Sakaar and owned by the Grandmaster.[1]
The Commodore[]
Escape from Sakaar[]
This section requires expansion |
In 2017, one such spacecraft, the Commodore, which was the Grandmaster’s personal ship, was hijacked by Thor, Bruce Banner, and Valkyrie to escape Sakaar and travel to Asgard.[1]
Battle with Hela[]
The Revengers landed on Asgard and prepared to battle Hela, rigging a cannon salvaged from an Asgardian Skiff on the Commodore, so that it could be able to retaliate. Bruce Banner and Valkyrie then flew the Commodore to the Rainbow Bridge, where the Asgardians trying to flee were attacked by Fenris. Valkyrie tried to shoot Fenris, but the beast was far too resistant, prompting Banner to jump from the ship and fight Fenris himself.
The ship was then assaulted by multiple Berserkers who forced it to violently land on the Rainbow Bridge. Valkyrie survived the crash, however, and spectacularly joined the Asgardians in their battle against the Berserkers, drawing their attention by releasing the Commodore’s fireworks.[1].
Attack on the Statesman[]
In 2018, Thanos, in the Sanctuary II, intercepted the Statesman. The severely damaged Commodore remained floating nearby in space. When the Power Stone was used to destroy the Statesman, the Commodore was destroyed in the subsequent explosion.[2]
Other Craft[]
Hunt for Bruce Banner[]
- "They’re probably trying to deliver a message. I got to get to the bottom of that."
- ―Bruce Banner to Jennifer Walters[src]
In 2024, a craft was sent from Sakaar to Earth in order to find Bruce Banner. The craft located Banner near Los Angeles, California and flew in front of the car in which he and his cousin, Jennifer Walters, were in. Startled by the craft, Walters veered off the road and crashed down the hill. Banner recognized the craft and resolved to figure out why it was sent.[3]
In 2025, Banner located the craft and departed for space in it. While onboard, Banner accepted a phone call from Walters, but his call ended when the ship exited Earth's orbit.[4]
