The S.H.I.E.L.D. Training Facility is a S.H.I.E.L.D. training center for specialists and field agents.
History[]
Mike Peterson was taken into protective custody and rehabilitation by S.H.I.E.L.D. following his showdown against Phil Coulson and his team at Union Station in Los Angeles, where he was almost killed by the Centipede Project.[1].
S.H.I.E.L.D. offered Peterson the chance to become a field agent. He was trained at the training facility.
During one of his training exercises, Peterson had to move a heavy bulldozer in a set amount of time. After finishing, he asked his trainer if he managed to beat Captain America's time in the same exercise; however, according to the trainer, Peterson was not even close to it.
Phil Coulson showed up at the facility, with the intention of recruiting Peterson as backup for his team in their mission to take down the Centipede Project.[2]

- Given its status as a facility for physical training destined to field agents, it's possible that this facility is, or at least belongs to, S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy of Operations.
