The "S.H.I.E.L.D.-Assisted Stark Expo Battle" Universe is a universe in which multiple S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, including Natasha Romanoff, were able to help Tony Stark fight the Hammer Drones at Stark Expo.

History[]

Rise of Iron Man[]

Tony Stark invented a suit of armor which allowed him to fight to keep people safe. He worked to bring peace to Earth as the hero Iron Man and ended his company's production of weapons. This led to Justin Hammer's company, Hammer Industries, becoming the United States' main weapons monger, although Hammer remained jealous of Stark having an Iron Man suit. Representing the military, Stark's best friend, James Rhodes started to work with Hammer, upsetting Stark.[1]

Pepper Potts' Promotion[]

Pepper Potts continued to work as Tony Stark's assistant through the cancellation of weapons, helping Stark very well. Stark was very impressed with how good of a job Potts did, leading him to promote her. Potts accepted, no longer working as Stark's assistant.

Stark went to a boxing session with his limousine driver and bodyguard, Happy Hogan, while Potts took phone calls and worked. A Stark Industries paralegal named "Natalie Rushman" arrived, and Stark found her to be attractive and intelligence. Stark offered her the job of Stark's assistant, replacing Potts after her promotion, which upset Potts. Rushman accepted happily, and the two shook hands.[1]

Duel of Monaco[]

"You come from a family of thieves!"
Ivan Vanko[src]

Tony Stark brought his friends to a car race where Stark Industries and Hammer Industries were both sponsoring cars and surprised his friends by racing on behalf of the Stark Industries Racing Team. He waved to his friends and to Justin Hammer as he raced passed them.

Ivan Vanko then appeared on the track, causing multiple cars to crash. He shouted to Stark that his family were thieves and charged at Stark's car. Vanko attacked Stark with his Arc Reactor-powered whips, but was captured by the police. He was brought to prison, but broke through the wall and escaped, beginning preparations for his larger plan.[1]

The Truth of Stark's Friends[]

Tony Stark returned home, where he was approached by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Nick Fury and Phil Coulson to talk about Ivan Vanko. During the conversation, "Natalie Rushman" revealed herself to be Natasha Romanoff, another S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, surprising Stark.

Meanwhile, James Rhodes stole an Iron Man armor and brought it to Edwards Air Force Base. The military added several weapons to the armor, turning it into the War Machine armor. Rhodes insisted on keeping the armor a secret only to be used in emergencies, but General Meade ordered Rhodes to unveil it to the public.[1]

Battle at Stark Expo[]

Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan attended a day at Stark Expo, where several drones and the War Machine armor, with James Rhodes inside, were being displayed. Ivan Vanko began to activate the drones as Tony Stark arrived, having tracked Vanko and discovered what he was doing. Vanko activated the drones and hacked the War Machine armor, causing them all to attack him. Stark began to fight the drones with help from Potts, Hogan, Natasha Romanoff, and Nick Fury.[1]
