Chase Stein's Algorithm[]
When Chase Stein was trapped in the Healing Algorithm, it displayed an alternate reality where the Runaways were attacked by PRIDE. Stein got up and saw Alex Wilder, who was sadly too far gone. He stepped out of the room to see Molly Hernandez holding Old Lace in her hands. On his left was Nico Minoru and Karolina Dean dead on the stairs. Suddenly, there was a scream from the middle of the Hostel.
Stein looked down to find Gert Yorkes being taken away by PRIDE for their sacrifice. Stein used his Fistigons and agility to defeat PRIDE. He then kissed Yorkes, having saved her. Slowly, Stein started realizing that this world was fake.[1]
Karolina Dean's Algorithm[]
Karolina Dean was also trapped in a Healing Algorithm. On this one, she got to live out her dream of getting married to Nico Minoru. Dean walked down the aisle with Chase Stein to find Alex Wilder as the best man as well as Gert Yorkes, Molly Hernandez, and Xavin as bridesmaids.
Karolina's mother, Leslie Dean married the two. However, the algorithm started failing in the party due to Magistrate's Wife tinkering with the system. This caused everyone to disappear in front of Karolina. She watched as Minoru grew sick and started fading. Karolina eventually made it out.
