The River's End Police Department is the police department in River's End, New York.
History
When Deke Shaw got drunk in Mike's Beer and found himself unable to pay for his drink, Mike called the River's End Police Department, who took Shaw into custody. Later, Daisy Johnson, posing as Shaw's social worker Sinara Smith, came to the River's End Police Station to have him released. Although Chief Wellins genuinely believed Johnson's speech, Officer Kennedy recognized Johnson as a most wanted S.H.I.E.L.D. fugitive and tried to hold her and Shaw at the police station. However, Johnson and Shaw managed to get away.[1]
The River's End Police Department was soon visited by General Hale and her aide Candice Lee, who were tracking down the remaining S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents. Hale and Lee required the police's assistance for their investigation. As a result, the police gave them the information they had obtained about Shaw, as well as the video footage showing Johnson's visit into the police station. Their search was unsuccessful, however, and the military left River's End, enabling the police to go back to its regular affairs.[2]
