Ritchie and two of his friends were outside Whiskers when Malcolm Ducasse and Steven Benowitz exited. Ritchie called them by a homophobic slur, prompting Ducasse to call them "assholes." Benowitz left, and Ritchie and his friends confronted Malcolm. Initially, Malcolm walked away, but Ritchie kept on at him until Malcolm punched him. All three of them started to beat on Malcolm until he was rescued by Trish Walker who was high on the Combat Enhancer Inhaler.[1]
