Yo-Yo Rodriguez denies taking Jeffrey Mace's lanyard, though Melinda May orders her to report to the Quinjet for questioning. Once onboard the jet, May expresses disappointment in Rodriguez and her poor spy work. She points out how easy it was for her to figure out who stole Mace's lanyard, as Rodriguez was the only person to have access to him that day besides Agents Burrows and Anderson and the only one of them with super speed. She then checked Rodriguez's activity on the lab computer and saw that she had performed a facial recognition scan. May demands that Rodriguez hand over the lanyard, which she does, and warns that such sloppy spy work will likely get her caught in the future. May promises not to inform S.H.I.E.L.D. of Rodriguez's activities, but advises her to think long and hard about them on her flight. The pilot enters the jet and informs her that he is taking her to Baltimore instead of Los Angeles. Rodriguez looks over at May, who grins and nods.
In Baltimore, Rodriguez tracks down Victor Ramon at the port. She takes his gun and beats him with it, asking if her remembers her and her cousin Francisco. He confirms that he does and mocks her for taking the law into her own hands, finding it ironic since she helped S.H.I.E.L.D. put an end to the police work of him and his comrades in the National Police of Colombia. She calls him a coward and accuses him of abusing his power, and he points out the she is doing the same thing from his point of view. Two of Ramon's henchmen arrive, one of whom knocks Rodriguez unconscious.
