The Rescue of Tony Stark was a rescue mission executed by Captain Marvel that resulted in Tony Stark and Nebula being safely returned to Earth after being lost in deep space for multiple weeks trying to return themselves.

Tony Stark preparing a message to Pepper Potts
Tony Stark and Nebula, the only survivors of the Snap on Titan, resorted to the Benatar in hopes of returning to Earth and reuniting with the Avengers. The Benatar only had a few supplies left since Stark and Nebula had been on the ship for more than twenty days. Emaciated from lack of food and water, Stark recorded a message using his helmet for Pepper Potts explaining his situation on his time in space. Becoming lightheaded from exhaustion, Stark concluded that he will dream about Potts in his sleep before turning off the recording. Afterwards, Stark drifted off to sleep as Nebula sympathized for him.[1]

Captain Marvel returning the Benatar to Earth

Tony Stark started drifting off to sleep aboard the Benatar, but he was awakened by a blinding light emitted from Captain Marvel traveling through space. Captain Marvel brought the ship, with Stark and Nebula inside, back to the Avengers Compound on Earth. In the middle of the field, Stark exited out of the ship and was reunited with Steve Rogers, Pepper Potts, and the rest of the Avengers that survived the Snap, while Nebula comforted a sorrowful Rocket on the steps of the Benatar.[1]

At the Avengers Compound, the remaining Avengers conversed about the possible location of Thanos. When Steve Rogers asked Tony Stark if he had any indications of where Thanos could be, Stark erupted and told Rogers that he had no information. Stark then confronted Rogers, explaining that his attempt to build a suit of armor around the world was to prevent the very situation they were in. Stark collapsed and was given a sedative, allowing him to rest due to his long duration in space.
Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers were able to locate Thanos on Planet 0259-S and flew there in the Benatar in order to retrieve the Infinity Stones and reverse the effects of the Snap, only to realize that Thanos had destroyed the Stones, prompting an enraged Thor to kill him.[1]
