- "It will be challenging to conceal that we have murdered the Controller. The crew will be labeled mutineers... a death sentence in this section of space."
"So we'd need to sneak off the ship." - ―Enoch and Leo Fitz[src]
The Rescue of Sivian Engineers was a successful rescue mission by Leo Fitz and Enoch to save the Sivian engineers from being executed by Viro.
Background[]
Leo Fitz and Enoch barely survived an attack on their ship, and were forced to stowaway on the Lazy Comet, using an Iriscope to change his eye color to blend in with the Sivians on bored.[2] However, Fitz was quickly found out after he shared his distaste for Xandarian Snails and claimed to live in an irradiate wasteland. The Sivians attacked Fitz and discovered Enoch as their leader, Viro, appeared. Viro told his crew to throw the stowaways off the ship, which led Fitz to argue that they could be useful. They offered to work for free, so Viro decided to let him stay.[3]
Rescue[]
Understanding that he only required the services of Leo Fitz and Enoch, Viro decided to execute his crew of Sivians by releasing them out of the airlock. However, as he brought them to their deaths, they were stopped by Fitz, who attempted to do the right thing and save them. However, Viro thought nothing of Fitz's attempts, so he proceeded to put the Sivians in the airlock, which Fitz then put himself in there too, unbeknownst to Viro that it was all part of Fitz's plan. The controls had secretly been altered, so when Viro pressed the button to open the airlock, it actually opened the doors behind him, causing him and his guards to be launched into space. Enoch then made his way to the controls, trying not too also be sucked out, and successfully closed the door and let Fitz and the Sivians free.[3]
Aftermath[]
Leo Fitz and Enoch decided to bring the Sivians to Kitson, where they could easily find employment.[3] While on Kitson, they went to a House of Games in Kitson City and lost a gambling match, resulting in them nearly being killed. There, Fitz was taken by Malachi.[4] The Chronicoms kept Fitz hostage in order to convince Jemma Simmons to develop time travel for them. They convinced Simmons and Fitz to work together to make time travel,[5] trapping them in a Cerebral Fusion Machine, before they got the chance to escape[6] and return to Kitson,[7] where they were finally brought back to Earth by Izel.[8]
