The Rescue of Joy Meachum was a mission organized by Mary Walker and Ward Meachum to save Joy Meachum from Davos.

Fearing that Davos could be a threat for Joy Meachum, Ward Meachum cut a deal with Mary Walker to help him rescue his sister in exchange for non-redacted file about her military history. Paying a large sum to outside contractors, Ward obtained a file from United States Department of Justice and gave it to Walker. Later, both Walker and Ward met with Turk Barrett who sold them necessary weaponry.
Meanwhile, Joy was terrified by Davos' actions, as he started to murder innocent people and was planning to kill Danny Rand. In order to stop Davos, she asked BB to steal Tibetan Singing Bowl from Davos and gave it Rand and Colleen Wing. BB did what Joy asked him, however, Davos found out that the bowl was stolen and Ryhno's Gang found BB at the Bayard Community Center. Davos quickly realized that Joy turned against him and confronted her about her decision.
Joy Meachum is pushed by Davos
Joy stated that Davos lost his way and became one of the criminals that he vowed to destroy, and he stole the Iron Fist from Rand, despite his statements. Enraged by Joy's words, Davos pushed her from the balcony and ordered Chen Wu to watch over her, as she lied on the ground, seriously injured. As Joy woke up, Wu said to her that Davos is not going to let her die easily.[2]
Rescue[]
Chen Wu is shot by Ward Meachum

Learning about Davos' location from arrested Ryhno's Gang members, Misty Knight arrived at the Eden Towers to find and arrest him. As she walked through the location, Knight suddenly found injured and bleeding on the floor. Knight rushed to help her, however, she was ambushed by Chen Wu.
Wu managed to disarm Knight, so they emerged into hand-to-hand combat. Even with her bionic arm, Knight was unable to fight against Wu properly, due to his martial arts skills. However, Wu was shot in the neck by Ward Meachum who arrived at the place to kill Davos and save his sister.
Mary Walker knocks out Misty Knight
While Wu was bleeding, Ward took Joy out of Eden Towers and called an ambulance to provide medical assistance to his sister. While Knight attempted to treat Wu's wound, he was finished by Mary Walker who decided to put him out of misery. As Walker pointed the weapon at Knight, she noted that Walker was not a cop killer. Walker admired it and knocked Knight out, closing her in the improvised cell.[2]
Aftermath[]

"After everything, I did to Danny. Doesn't bother you anymore? It's just water under the bridge?"
"Of course, it bothers me, but I don't think anyone would deny that you did a brave thing by going back into Davos' place to try and fix things." - ―Joy Meachum and Ward Meachum[src]
Taking Joy Meachum to an ambulance, Ward Meachum stayed to comfort his sister. Joy noted that this is just a matter of time when Davos succeeding his goal. She asked Ward why did he come to rescue her, despite everything she did to Danny Rand. Ward answered that it is bothering him, however, he could not help but save his sister and she actually did a brave a thing to fix her mistakes.
Removing Chen Wu's body, Mary Walker took her position with the rifle, waiting for Davos. As soon as Davos escaped from Chikara Dojo, Walker attacked him and he covered himself. However, Walker was confronted by Rand, Colleen Wing, and Misty Knight who left her cell.[3]
